Valgaav

Description/background: Valgaav is one of those people for whom
life pretty much sucks. When he was little, his species - the Ancient
Dragons - were mostly wiped out. Val himself - who was called Valtiera
at that time - was badly injured and near death. Gaav, the Dark Lord,
picked him up and gave Val part of his essence, making him half Mazoku.
Since then, Val has been one of Gaav's most powerful and loyal servants.
Val is a charismatic sort with a dry sense of humor. He also has
a bit of a temper and a violent streak. He can be fairly unpleasant
when he's in a bad enough mood. (i.e., don't talk to him when he's
in the same room with Xelloss.) He's very straightforward, but also
very intelligent and cunning.
Role on Campus: He spends a lot of time being tormented by Xelloss.
He's actually one of Emeraldas's better students, and one of the safest
psychotic people on campus - only people who hit the wrong nerves get attacked.
He's absolutely creeped out by Escaflowne, although he doesn't know why
yet. (When he finds out, Van will be in serious trouble.)
